Bollywood is not only known to entertain people with reel-life fights in movies, but also with real-life fights between the actors. From bullying to backstabbing, celebrities have time and again become a sort of jokes for their immature behavior. Here's a look at the most hateful and shocking fights of Bollywood stars.

Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan

The two very infamous superstars got into an argument at a party that Salman Khan threw for his girlfriend, (now turned former-love) Katrina Kaif, which later turned ugly. The situation turned even worse when SRK made a comment on Aishwarya Rai, who was also Salman's ex-girlfriend. Since then, the two have taken potshots at each other and maintained a good distance with each other. However, just recently the two superstars hugged each other at MLA Baba Siddique's Iftar party, which many think could be the beginning of the end of the industry's much-discussed feuds.

Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan

Gauri Khan and Priyanka Chopra

When Gauri Khan made her decision for not to attend the funeral and prayer meet of Dr Ashok Chopra, who is beloved father of Priyanka Chopra, it was quite clear that she wanted to maintain distance from the actress. It is believed that the reason behind this is Priyanka's alleged linkup with Gauri's beloved husband Shah Rukh Khan.

Priyanka Chopra and Gauri Khan

Last year, when Gauri expressed her hate feelings for Priyanka, filmmaker Karan Johar also took digs at the actress, but he was quick enough to make peace with her and roped in 'Agneepath'. Dr Ashok's funeral was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, and also by PC's so-called foe Kareena Kapoor, to which she made her presence with sister Karisma Kapoor.

Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor

Actors Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra got although gone well during the shooting of their hit movie 'Aitraaz' with Akshay Kumar, but Kareena's statement on Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee With Karan' didn't go down well with both the actresses.

Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor

Bebo's statement to PeeCee as 'not so great actress' was enough to give a hint to the paparazzi about their cold war. Bebo even went on to say that the two weren't friends. Shockingly, these statements were made after the two actresses were also seen in Farhan Akhtar's 'Don', starring Shah Rukh Khan. Unfazed by what was said about her, Priyanka maintained Kareena's attitude and didn't showed much importance. However, later on in an event, the two were also seen hugging with each other, which was assumed to be the end of their cold war. Reportedly, Kareena and Priyanka have both dated Shahid Kapoor earlier.

Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif

When Deepika Padukone told Karan Johar in his show 'Koffee With Karan' that she wanted to gift a pack of condoms to her ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor and also wished to see the passport of RK's present-beau Katrina Kaif, everybody knew what made her to dig such potholes. Both Deepika and Katrina, who had though performed at the IPL opening ceremony together with Shah Rukh Khan once, preferred to avoid speaking and coming face-to-face with each other, time and again.

Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif

Their enmity started around four years back. Post their film, 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', Deepika and Ranbir had expressed their love for each other on public platforms. However, their relationship soon turned sour when the rumours of unfaithfulness by the Playboy Ranbir started doing the rounds. According to the buzz, Katrina made a crack between Deepika and Ranbir affair while shooting 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani', where since then the couple are said to be dating with each other. Reportedly, Katrina too dumped Salman Khan during that period of time to date the Kapoor lad.

Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan may have moved on in life by marrying Amitabh Bachchan's son Abhishek Bachchan, but seemed like Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi just can't let bygones be bygones. Their fall-out is one of the few B-town fights which have unfortunately lasted till long time.

Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi

Earlier Ash was said to be dating with Khan, but then she soon dumped him and apparently started to date with Vivek Oberoi. Since Vivek's bond with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also didn't go down well, the relationship between the two ex-lovers of Ash too didn't go down well with each other. It is being said that Vivek had also supposedly received threats by Salman. Later on, even though Vivek apologised to Salman, seems like it didn't help to retain their bond.

Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor

Everybody in the industry is aware of the petty fall-out between the two gorgeous actresses, Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai. For those who aren't aware of the fight, here's a quick review. It all started when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned down the offer to walk the red carpet for Cannes with Sonam Kapoor. Displeased with Ash's decision, Sonam was also quoted by referring Aishwarya as an 'Aunty'. However all's well now, where courtesy goes to Ash's hubby and Sonam's dear friend Abhishek Bachchan, who reportedly interfered and solved the issue.

Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan

One would for sure remember the famous war of words between Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan, when Guzaarish got released. The film although was critically acclaimed, but didn't go down well at the box office. And thus Salman said, "Arre, usme toh makhi udd rahi thi, lekin koi machhar bhi nahi gaya dekhne. Arre, koi kutta bhi nahin gaya." Quite annoyed with Salman's remark, Hrithik also reverted back by saying, "Heroes don't gloat, they should show some grace." However, sometime later, Hrithik buried the hatchet with the Dabangg Khan and all is well between the two superstars now.

Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap

Filmmakers Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar may have amazed fans with their films, but the two left many shaken when they showed no inhibitions in taking digs at each other on their official twitter handle. The heated discussion kicked off when Anurag got vocal about his criticism for the films which are made by Karan Johar and Yash Chopra. Karan strongly reacted to Anurag's statements by saying he had lost his head and should opt for a treatment. However, the two filmmakers soon patched up, and now it is being learnt that Karan will soon be seen making his full-fledge acting debut in Anurag's next directorial movie Bombay Velvet.

Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap

Farah Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali

The cold war between Farah Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also quite known in the industry, when Farah hit back by making a rude remark on Bhansali. On being asked about Sanjay by Karan Johar on his chat show, she had said, "Lily, don't be silly." The comment however didn't go down well with Sanjay, as he thought that it was unfair and rude behavior on Farah's take to dig at his mother's name - Leela. Even though Farah apologised, but apparently the damage was still there.

Farah Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Shah Rukh Khan and Shirish Kunder

Shah Rukh Khan had allegedly punched and slapped Farah Khan's filmmaker husband Shirish Kunder at the success bash of Agneepath. The private bash, which was thrown by Sanjay Dutt, actor SRK and filmmaker Kunder got into an ugly fight after the latter took potshots at the superstar. It all started when Farah roped in Akshay Kumar for 'Joker' and left behind his dear friend Shah Rukh.

Shah Rukh Khan and Shirish Kunder

Farah and Kunder also went to media and expressed their anger towards SRK. Well, everything was calmed down soon and all buried their hatched like a family. Reportedly Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala took the helpful initiative to bring out the peace between Farah, Shirish and SRK.

Ajay Devgn

Sanjay Dutt

Playing the role of a real-life prostitute on the screen is quite a tough job for any actress, as it not only requires some skin-show and intimate scenes, but also one would need to follow the perfect kind of body language and dialogue delivery. However, no matter how tough the role would be, these Bollywood actresses do it very efficiently and in a very professional manner. Well, although the role could be a path-breaking one for their career, but some have won accolades for it and some have hardly raised a buzz. We bring you 10 such famous on-screen hookers aka prostitute in Bollywood, who have defined the role as per their era.

Meena Kumari

Legendary actress Meena Kumari's role in her Pakeezah (1972) is still being called as the original on-screen hooker in Hindi cinema. The shooting that started in 1964, however stopped a couple of months later, after almost half the movie was completed. The reason behind this was that the actress Kumari and her husband-director Kamal Amrohi got separated. When she took up the project again, she was very ill. And when the movie gained its box-office success, she just died two months after its release. The golden-hearted Lucknow prostitute that she enacted in the film is still one of the best female characters played in Hindi film industry, because the filmmakers these days just don't make them like her anymore.

Meena Kumari

Rekha

Another actress that classifies the role of a prostitute is none other than but the versatile actress Rekha. She just mesmerized everybody with her ada in the earlier 80s, with her film Umrao Jaan (1981). The tragic tawaif, who had no luck in love and life and is left alone in a brothel, has drawn much appreciation from all over. Back then, the character and characterization of a hooker was different from what we now know, because at that point of time, these movies were period dramas and not contemporary. The sleaze was bare minimum, and the inner life reflected more on the screen.

Rekha

Madhuri Dixit

As we are speaking about period and dramas, this 2002 remake of old-cult film 'Devdas' is another one, which is to be remember when it comes to onscreen prostitute. The Dhak-Dhak beauty Madhuri Dixit as the lovelorn Chandramukhi in the movie gave her own emotional touch. As a tawaif, she although has no such sequences on romantic love from her customers, but she cannot help to fall in love with the drunken Devdas. Needless to say, Madhuri won a number of awards for her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's remake version of 'Devdas' that starred Shah Rukh Khan in lead.

Madhuri Dixit

Tabu

There are those exceptional courageous movies in Bollywood, which give a picture of the rotten stench of real life. 'Chandni Bar' (2001) deals with the underworld life of Mumbai where the sons of gangsters take up arms, and the daughters of bar dancers and prostitutes end up in dance bars. Actress Tabu won many awards for her role as Mumtaz the bar dancer, including the National Film Award, who gets married to a gangster and has to opt the prostitution route to provide food and basic necessities for herself and her family. This one is a real eye-opener for the common people with half-baked ideas of a bar girl's life.

Tabbu

Preity Zinta

A light-hearted movie 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke' (2001) saw Preity Zinta in one of the prostitute role, who acts and behaves like a funny girl, but is good at heart. It is a story of the transformation of a lowly prostitute to a groomed personality by a businessperson (Salman Khan) who needs her to be his childless wife's surrogate. While Preity takes up the job for the money, she cannot let go of her baby who she has took care for 9 months in her womb. But eventually she let go in the end, making an infertile couple happy, and quite the job of a prostitute to lead a good life.

Preity Zinta

Manisha Koirala

Prostitution is primarily not carried out by self-choice and is more from emotional pressures by family, circumstances or from evil sections of society. Similar kind of story is being portrayed in this not-so-successful movie 'Market' (2003) that shows the under-age Manisha being sold off into the flesh trade by her new Arab sheikh husband. In a role that was surprisingly underrated, Manisha was brilliant as a hooker who goes on to punish herself.

Manisha Koirala

Rani Mukerji

Another actress who has also delivered superb roles as a prostitute is the very talented actress Rani Mukerji. She played Gulabji who narrates the story of 'Sawariya' and falls in love with the lead hero Ranbir Kapoor. However, just like we see in all other Bollywood hooker movies, she loses him to another woman (Sonam Kapoor).

Rani Mukerji Rani Mukerji as Hooker

In addition, her best performance as a prostitute was in YRF's 'Laaga Chunari Mein Daag'. A heart-wrenching tale of what is the real story of many real-life prostitutes, the movie tell you about a girl who leaves her family to get a job in Mumbai to provide money and basic necessities for them, but ends up as a call girl in Mumbai. However, Bollywood had moved forward in its treatment of such characters, and sees her happily married with her love Abhishek Bachchan in the movie.

Kalki Koechlin

Kalki enacts the character of a new-age Chandramukhi in her contemporary take on 'Devdas', titled as 'Dev.D' (2009). In the film she is a high-class prostitute in night and a college student in day. It also throws light upon one of the newest and hottest phenomena that drags a civilized woman into the prostitution world, or rather becoming a call girl, and that is an MMS scandal, that shakes the girl's family into shame. A strong woman who knows what she wants and knows how to get it, Kalki's character adds a new aspect to the role of a prostitute in Bollywood.

Kalki Koechlin

Kareena Kapoor

One of the finest prostitute roles in 2000's was played by Kareena Kapoor. She first played the role in 'Chameli' (2004), where she impresses Rahul Bose's character with her attitude of strength, kindness and compassion. Kareena Kapoor Kareena Kapoor as Hooker

The second movie where the actress plays a hooker is 'Talaash' (2012), which although does not stand in comparison with her role in 'Chameli', but even though gave a remarkable performance. Shruti Haasan

We end this list with what prostitute roles in Bollywood have now come down to - a very short and cameo appearance with no specific character sketch. Shruti Haasan, as the latest to join the brigade, delivers a good performance although in D-Day (2013), but has a very small role in the movie. She falls in love with a RAW agent (Arjun Rampal), makes some lustful love and eventually dies by terrorist people. Nagada Sang Dhol - Ram Leela (Deepika Padukone)

The style icon Deepika Padukone will now be seen as a traditional girl in her upcoming film Ram-Leela (2013). And not only this, she had ensured to make us forget all our previous memories with Bollywood's Garba tracks. In short, Dippy has put forth her amazing grooving skills with 'Nagada Sang Dhol' song in the movie, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's knack of making his heroines look fabulous on the screen, it only adds to the anticipation.

Nagada Sang Dhol - Ram Leela (Deepika Padukone)Dholi Taro - Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (Aishwarya Rai)

Ash shook her legs on popular 'Dholi Taro' song from her award winning film Hum Dil Chuke Sanam (1999), and simply mesmerized everybody. Besides her dancing skills, it was her charismatic onscreen chemistry with ex-beau Salman Khan that had enthralled the masses. Sung by Vinod Rathod and Kavita Krishnamurthy, the unmatchable energy and appealing rhythm of the song has even enticed many to become garba fan.

Dholi Taro - Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (Aishwarya Rai)

Another Garba number featuring Aishwarya Rai, in which this green eyed diva has been projected as a Garba queen, is the one from Bride and the Prejudice (2004). In the film, she had once again danced to her peppy 'Dola Re' lyrics, and for a second time mesmerized everybody. She was paired opposite Hollywood star Martin Henderson in this Gurinder Chadha's film, where they both realised their lovey-dovey attraction towards each other in this dandiya song sequence.

Pari Hun Main - Kai Po Che! (Amrita Puri)

When an entire movie has got its premise embedded in the soil of Gujrat, then one can sure expect a Dandiya-Garba sequence in it. Yes, you got it right! We are talking about the acclaimed movie 'Kai Po Che!' (2013), in which the beautiful actress Amrita Puri grooved herself in one of the popular song, titled as Pari Hun Main. Top 10 Karva Chauth in Bollywood

Karva Chauth is a popular festival done by Hindu women for the long life of their husbands or fiances. Because of its enormous cultural and social importance, and emotional attachment between the spouses, Karva Cauth festival has become well-known in the modern times. Traditionally, on the occasion of Karva Chauth, married women abstain from eating or drinking water from sunrise till the moment of the moonrise, for the well-being of their husbands/fiances by following rituals. They break their day long fast, only after the moon becomes visible in the evening and when husbands offer water or food.

Now portraying such traditions has become an important aspect of our Hindi movies. On the occasion of Karva Chauth, here's a look at the unusual and interesting depiction of the festival in Bollywood over the years.

Maang Bharo Sajana

Though we have seen Karva Chauth sequences in a couple of recent films, one of the first movies to have a full-fledged Karva Chauth sequence was seen in 'Maang Bharo Sajana'. Released in the 1980's, this movie starred Jeetendra, Rekha and Maushmi Chatterjee in lead.

Maang Bharo SajanaDilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

In Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, one can perhaps be called the most famous Karva Chauth sequence in Bollywood. Here both Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol fast for each other, and break it after SRK manages to sneak out of the main ceremony to meet and break Kajol's fast, Faking a dizzy spell she manages to partake the first sip of water from Shahrukh's hand.

Dilwale Dulhania Le JayengeHum Aapke Hain Koun!

The first film that showed a larger than life 'Karva Chauth' ceremony was in Sooraj Barjatya's 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun!'. Barjatya, who is quite known to make family dramas, showcased the festival of Karva Chauth flamboyantly with the participation of entire family.

Hum Aapke Hain Koun!Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam

In Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Aishwarya Rai is forced by her family to marry Ajay Devgn. Even during her Karva Chauth, she wants to see her love Salman Khan's face, but she has to face Ajay. Also Ash imagined her lover Salman in the song 'Chand Chupa Aanchal Mein...' and not her reel-husband Ajay Devgn.

Hum Dil De Chuke SanamBaghban

Baghban is a touching tale of an old couple, where the old-aged Hema Malini is shown keeping a 'vrath' for her eternal lover-husband Amitabh Bachchan. Karva Chauth confirms the strong bond between a husband and wife, and Amitabh and Hema Malini's touching portrayal of a 60-plus husband-wife in Baghban was played with perfection.

BaghbanHamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai

In Humare Dil Aapke Paas Hai, Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya are seen in a Karva Chauth sequence. Although the couple aren't married, nor do have they proposed each other, but they have a strong bonding of love between them.

Hamara Dil Aapke Paas HaiYes Boss

In Yes Boss, Juhi Chawla fasts for Shah Rukh Khan, even though they aren't husband and wife in the movie. The lead characters are forced by situations to act as married partners, but Juhi sticks to the tradition to keep Shah Rukh's mother happy.

Yes BossBiwi No. 1

This was a rather bizarre Karva Chauth sequence in movie 'Biwi No. 1'. Salman Khan is married to Karisma Kapoor, but he is with his lover Sushmita Sen when it's time to break the fast. However, then his pet dog comes and breaks the tradition, where Salman eventually gets caught red-handed by Karisma.

Biwi No. 1Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is a typical Karan Johar film, where like everything else, the blissful tradition of Karva Chauth is being celebrated lavishly. The famous reel-life couple Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol refreshes the memory of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, and the celebrated real-life couple Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan are seen celebrating the festival in this movie.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie GhamIshq Vishk

In Ishq Vishk, Amrita Rao and Shahid Kapoor are just college students and not married, but the former still wants to keep a 'vrath' for her boyfriend, and Kapoor obliges, although half-heartedly. It's quite sweet and cute sequence, where the makers have shown a true love inside girl's heart. After watching this, many lovebirds may have been motivated to follow the rituals.

Ranveer Singh is in news ever since he started shooting for the movie, because of his new look and heroic moustache. The energetic and expressive young Ranveer has remained in character, keeping his facial hair untouched for the movie and the following promotions. It's surely quite interesting to see how he carries off his Gujarati character with the rustic and bare-chested look in the film.

Ranveer's look in Ram-Leela

Adding to this, the very gorgeous leggy beauty Deepika Padukone, who is in unearthly, heavily embroidered lehengas and traditional outfits, in Ram-Leela is a style-hit. Priyanka Chopra's Hot-n-Sizzling Item Number

Earlier it was being speculated that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would be making her comeback through a sizzling item number in her favourite Bhansali's film Ram-Leela.
