In 2000, Aishwarya's parents also lodged a police complaint against the actor for stalking, threatening and making an attempt to enter Aishwarya's house forcefully.
Ash also openly said in one of her interview, "There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving any marks. And I would go to work as if nothing had happened." She then immediately went to the Versova Police Station and lodged an FIR complaint against husband Om Puri. She also claimed that the actor had done many times in past. On the other side, Om justifies that he is innocent and his wife is trying to ruin his career and life.

In 1998, at the age of 18, Shweta Tiwari married actor Raja Chaudhary. They got divorced in 2007 after nine years of long relation and also have a daughter named Palak.
Before her divorce, the actress was seen pouring her heart out in interviews about troubled relationship with her husband. She alleged about domestic abuse in court against Raja and claimed that he would often come home drunk and physically harm her. During their marriage also, Shweta had reported against Raja several times in police stations for physical and verbal abuse.
