Top 5 Bollywood Films On AIDS Awareness

With alarming number of AIDS victims shooting up, safe sex has become our prime topic of concern today! And here's how Bollywood complements it with their share of films on AIDS awareness! Check it out!

Coming first is 2000 film, Nidaan. Starring an ensemble of Shivaji Satam, Reena Lagoo and Sanjay Dutt in leads, the film speaks about how one can be charged with HIV positive, despite not having a sexual transmission. So it's quite an engaging story on the contagious issue.

Then we have Phir Milenge coming from heartthrobs Salman and Shilpa Shetty. The two collaborated to deliver this Aids sensation by essaying a HIV positive woman and how she tackles with the sins of being victimized, against the odds of our society.

Coming next is My Brother Nikhil starring Sanjay Suri, Juhi Chawla and Purab Kohli in leads. It narrates the story of state swimming champion; Nikhil who is quite a champ, but only till he contracts with AIDS. So how people disown him with only a few owning him, is what the entire film talks about.

Then we have Dus Kahaniyaan with a coup of 6 directors that hit in 2006. It crafted to deliver 10 different stories out of which, Dia Mirza and Manoj Bajpai narrated this state of lust taking charge of unprotected sex, following which, the latter gets tracked down with HIV AIDS.

And last but not the least we have, the Fatak song from 2009 film Kaminey. Featuring Shahid Kapoor in leads, the song was been included to preach safe sex and how condoms can prevent AIDS.
